The medieval Castle of St. Martino della Vaneza, erected around the year 1000, hosts the Museum of the River Bacchiglione. In the suggestive halls of the castle, medieval, roman and preroman finds from the River and the Roncaiette Canal, are displayed. Of particular interest are the one-piece wooden boats dating back to the 8th c. They were discovered in 1972 during some works in the territory of Selvazzano. They witness the technique skilfulness of the local inhabitants of this area in the first years of the first millennium.
